EDGAR company lookup (ticker → CIK)

Resolve a US stock ticker (e.g. AAPL) to its SEC CIK number, the primitive every other EDGAR call needs. Returns CIK in both zero-padded (0000320193) and integer form, plus the registered company name. Backed by SEC's company_tickers.json (public domain). ?ticker=AAPL
